Amy Barnard - Urban-Equestrian

Amy’s work has been published in major publications worldwide with multiple covers and features including Architectural Digest M.E., Elle Decor India, and a number of books published by Rizzoli. Her passion for creating compelling imagery and telling unique stories has been her lifelong commitment, and she loves the challenge of bringing each client’s unique vision to life.

With her love for classical architecture, interiors, and travel, Amy feels truly fortunate to have created a career in which those things fill her life. She has been honored to photograph some of the most beautiful locations in the world and to work with some of the best designers in the industry, including one of her favorites, Timothy Corrigan.

Her appreciation of aesthetics has been present throughout her life and plays a part in her constant yearning for growth and development. She was honored as Valedictorian by Brooks Institute with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography, where she also graduated Summa Cum Laude. In addition to her photography credentials, she also holds a French culinary degree, is certified as a gemologist, and is a licensed drone pilot.

In her free time, she is usually working on a personal project of some sort. Currently, she is creating a book about a beautiful Venetian style palazzo in Santa Barbara, California (with an incredible story to boot). She has been a lifelong equestrian and participates in the sport of dressage, where she actively competes with her thoroughbred, Beau.

Originally from New England, she now lives in Santa Monica, California.
